August 2023 – Great Manifestation

Dearly beloved, happy new month. It’s the eighth month of the year and the Lord has been so gracious counting you and your family worthy to see yet another month. The Almighty God deserves all the glory, honour and praise.

Our theme for this month is “Great Manifestation”. The anchor scripture above says that the creatures are earnestly waiting your manifestation as a child of God. What does it mean to manifest and how can you manifest in this time and season?

The Oxford English Dictionary defines “manifestation” as the act of showing or demonstrating something, making it evident or apparent. It can also refer to an event, action, or occurrence that displays a particular quality or emotion. In a broader context, it can be associated with the appearance or realization of something that was previously hidden or unseen. It means a sign showing the existence of a particular condition. The scriptures below shows the few areas that you and I are expected to manifest as children of God.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬, ‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

You can manifest as light to the world and as salt to the earth. You can manifest by doing good to your neighbours, friends and family members. In addition, you can manifest by fulfilling God’s mandate of fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishment, subduement and dominion. You can manifest in so many other ways that showcase God’s glory. May you manifest God’s glory in all ramifications and as you journey through this month in Jesus mighty name.

For you to manifest the light of God, you need to be connected to the source of the light. Are you connected with God through His son Jesus Christ? Are you born again? If you are not, please take advantage of this opportunity and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Repent of your sins and turn from your evil ways. Start the journey of your manifestation through salvation.

To those who are already in Christ, please stay connected with Him. There are better days ahead as you continue to manifest His goodness and glory. The psalmist says:

“For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭36‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
