Happy New Month, beloved brother or sister! We thank God for the grace to be alive to witness the beginning of the sixth month. As we approach the midpoint of this year, may we not miss our blessings in Jesus’ mighty name.
According to the dictionary, diligence means steady, earnest, and energetic effort: devoted and painstaking work and application to accomplish an undertaking. I believe there are many things you may have set your heart to accomplish this year, and in this month in particular, whether it is service to God, to yourself, or to humanity at large. The virtue of diligence and absolute commitment will put you on the right course.
While there are many factors pivotal to the success of a person, the need to be diligent cannot be overemphasized. The scripture above says that a man who will stand before kings must be diligent in his business. As God is set to do new things for us this month, an essential virtue we need to cultivate is that of diligence. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the following quotes:

Diligence is what separates excellence from mediocrity. It is a virtue that can pull you out of obscurity and place you in the limelight. Rather than standing among the lowly, it can cause you to stand before kings. Does this sound like your heart’s desire?
As children of God, we require diligence to make greater impacts in our callings. In our quest to disciple more men for God’s kingdom, we cannot afford to neglect this golden attribute. It is a necessary ingredient for producing spiritual fruit and for making lasting impacts in the kingdom of God. It helps us put the necessary things in place for our effectiveness and fruitfulness.
As we continue our journey in this year of landmark, let us add diligence to our faith, doing our part in all aspects and leaving no stone unturned in all our endeavors. Let us commit ourselves to being diligent in every area of our lives this month. Whether in our service to God, our families, our work, or personal growth, diligence is the key that unlocks success and excellence. By being consistent and devoted, we position ourselves to receive God’s favor and open doors of opportunity. As we do this, may God, who rewards those who diligently seek Him, meet us at our points of need and perfect all that concerns us.
In conclusion, the power of diligence will open doors for us and bring us closer to the fulfillment of our divine purpose. May the grace of God empower you to stay focused, diligent, and unwavering in all your tasks this month. Trust that as you labor diligently, God will reward your efforts abundantly.
