Happy New Month, dearly beloved.
Welcome to August, the eighth month of the year. We thank God for helping us thus far. May His glory continue to shine upon us, and may His light continue to illuminate our path as we journey through the rest of this year.
Our theme for the month is “The Great Turnaround.”
In the Bible, a great turnaround is when God steps in to completely reverse a hopeless, negative, or broken situation, replacing it with victory, restoration, and joy. Furthermore, the number eight (8) symbolizes new beginnings, resurrection, and a fresh start. It represents the beginning of a new order. With this in mind, we believe that the Lord is set to do new things in your life and family this month.
The past months may not have met your expectations. Your prayers may have seemed unanswered, and your goals may have appeared unattainable. But this season, the Lord is stepping in to reverse every hopeless situation, bring hope where there has been despair, turn every negative into a positive, and grant you a brand-new beginning in every area of your life.
You will testify as the psalmist declared:
“Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.”

This month of August also marks the 74th Annual RCCG Convention, themed “Mountain Movers.” We are the mountain movers. This is a divine assignment that the Almighty God has given to every believer. As the Scripture says:
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

Beloved, it is time for every long-standing mountain in your life to move. It is time for every seemingly immovable obstacle in your career, business, family, ministry, and every other area of your life to give way. Our responsibility is to speak to those mountains in faith. Are you ready?
Perhaps you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. There can be no greater turnaround than the experience of salvation. It is the divine transformation that brings a person from darkness into God’s marvellous light. It is the experience that causes the old life of sin, sadness, and sorrow to pass away, making all things new.
The question is: Are you born again? If not, I encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour today. Repent of your sins and embrace the new life and relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
As you do, may every mountain of difficulty and every challenge before you be removed. May you experience a divine turnaround for the better in every area of your life, family, career, business, and ministry, in Jesus’ mighty name.
I declare upon you:
“August 2026 shall mark the beginning of your greatest testimonies. What seemed impossible shall become possible, and your mourning shall indeed be turned into dancing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
