Happy New Month beloved.
It’s another privilege to be alive today to start a brand new month – February 2026. May God fill your heart with joy and your mouth with testimonies in Jesus’ mighty name.
Our theme for the month is “The New You”. The question that readily comes to mind is “What does this mean? Who is the new you? When is the New You going to manifest? How should the New You think or behave? What are the expectations of the New You?
“The New You” in this new month or year means a deliberate reset with intention. It’s not about becoming someone else overnight. It’s about you turning a new leaf, becoming a better version of yourself and choosing to show up differently, even in small, consistent ways. The Bible Says:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
At the center of it all, the New You means:
- A renewed mindset – This will help you to let go of old habits, thoughts, or attitudes that no longer serve or befits you as a child of God, and adopting healthier, more constructive ones in line with God’s will and purpose for you. Romans 12:2 KJV says “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
- Visions, Set Goals and Plans (Habakkuk 2:2-3) – Having a vision, set goals, plans and running with it should be paramount in your mind this new year and this month in particular. The Bible says “Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”Proverbs 29:18 KJV
- Fresh decisions – This new month comes with new opportunities to make fresh decisions. What kind of choice are you going to make? Making clearer choices about how you use your time, energy, and focus, whether in faith, work, relationships, or personal growth should be paramount in your heart this month. (Joshua 24:15, Deut 30:19)
- Growth, not perfection – “He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4 KJV. The New You should prioritize growth this new month. There is need to choose progress over excuses, and improvement over regret.
- Alignment with purpose – The New You should pattern your life according to the will and purpose of God. This new month, be more intentional to live your life in line with Godly values, goals, and calling, instead of drifting on autopilot. “There are many devices in a man’s heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19:21 KJV
In summary, “The New You” should be the version of you that learns from yesterday or the past, acts differently today, and moves forward with purpose. Each new day/week/month/year becomes a checkpoint and a fresh opportunity to grow.
Which areas of your life or business do you think you need to make adjustments? Perhaps you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, this should be the priority of the New You in this new month. Take action towards reconciling with your maker and God today. Taste and see, that the Lord is good.
Once again, happy new month and God bless.
