“And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches. For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.”
2 Kings 3:16-17 KJV
It is a brand new month again. The God of all grace has counted you and I worthy to be alive, hail and hearty to witness the tenth month of the year. We dare not take this for granted. May the name of the Lord be glorified forever for His goodness and mercy that is reigning supreme in our lives.
Our theme for the month is “Enlarge your capacity”. The Lord wants you and I not only to increase our spiritual capacity, but also our capacities in every facet of life. You can increase your capacity in knowledge, wisdom and understanding. You can increase your capacity in commitment and dedication to God. You can increase your capacity in service to humanity. You can increase your relevance and make more positive impacts in your community and field of influence, etc.
In preparation for your blessings this month, you have your part(s) to play. Hence the instruction in the anchor scripture “make this valley full of ditches”. When you do your part, the way God will do His part may defile all logic or human calculations. We usually see the wind before the rain, and then the water. God can do things in unusual ways to bring His blessings upon you and His promises to pass. He is the God of wonders.
May God work in unusual, powerful and supernatural way to fill your valley with water that you, your household, your cattle, and your beasts may drink and be satisfied. Your expectations will not be cut short in Jesus mighty name.
