February 2025 – The Power of Planning

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” Luke 14:28 KJV
Happy new month, beloved! What a joy to witness the start of this second month in a year that promises to be filled with great accomplishments. As we continue to move forward, it’s crucial that we embrace the theme of this month: The Power of Planning.
As we walk this Christian journey and pursue our goals in various aspects of life, planning is essential. Whether it’s in faith, relationships, career, or personal development, having a solid plan is a key factor in ensuring we not only reach but exceed the goals God has set for us.
In this new month, permit me to ask you: Do you have a plan? Do you have a strategy for becoming a better version of yourself? As you continue on this journey through 2025, how are you planning to grow spiritually, to strengthen your relationships, to excel in your career, and to overcome the challenges ahead? The truth is, to get from where you are now to where God wants you to be, you need a clear and intentional plan.
The benefits of planning are countless. A thoughtful plan brings direction, clarity, and purpose to every area of life —spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial. It gives you the structure you need to navigate the twists and turns along the way and ensures that you remain focused and aligned with God’s will.
To help drive home the importance of planning, consider these powerful quotes:
  1. “You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.” ~ Zig Ziglar
  2. “Riches do not come by crossing your fingers and walking through the day hoping. Riches and wealth come from well-laid plans.” ~ Jim Rohn
  3. “Planning ahead is a measure of class. The rich and even the middle class plan for future generations, but the poor can plan ahead only a few weeks or days.” ~ Gloria Steinem
  4. “Many people spend more time in planning the wedding than they do in planning the marriage.” ~ Zig Ziglar
As we embark on this month, I encourage you to go back to the drawing board. Take time to plan for your growth, success, breakthroughs, and those miracles you’ve been trusting God for. Success doesn’t come by accident; it is the result of intentional, thoughtful planning and execution, all covered in God’s grace and favor.
So, here’s wishing you new beginnings, new growth, and a new month filled with purpose, planning, and success in Jesus’ mighty name.
Stay blessed,
Pastor Joseph
