Happy New Month, dearly beloved.
We have stepped into the fifth month of the year, and the number five represents grace. May the ever-sufficient grace of God continue to uphold you and propel you forward in Jesus’ mighty name.
Beloved, a new month signifies an open door. It marks the birth of new opportunities, fresh adventures, and renewed chances to pursue purpose. However, with new doors often come new challenges. Apostle Paul reminds us:
“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” 1 Corinthians 16:9 (KJV)
We all desire different doors to be opened. For some, it may be career advancement; for others, marital settlement, business breakthroughs, or spiritual growth. Whatever your heart desires, may the Almighty God open the right doors for you this month in Jesus’ name.
The psalmist says:
“Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.” Psalm 118:19–20 (KJV)
It is important to understand that every open door may come with adversaries. Accessing and walking through that door often depends on how we respond to opposition and challenges. The good news is that we are not alone—we have a Helper in the Almighty God, who assures us:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness… Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah 41:10, 13 (KJV)
The One who is the Door, and who has brought us into this new month, has also promised to help us overcome every adversary that stands against our open doors.
What then is expected of us? We are called to rejoice and give thanks. Let this month find you more committed in your walk with God, more devoted in service, and more intentional about impacting lives and improving yourself.
To those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, be mindful that a great door of reconciliation with your Maker stands open before you. Do not delay, embrace this opportunity today. Turn from sin and commit to living a God-focused, Christ-centered life.
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9 (KJV)
May this month bring abundant blessings your way. May every open door of favour, joy, peace, and physical, spiritual, and financial breakthrough remain permanent in your life in Jesus’ mighty name.
Once again, congratulations, and Happy New Month.
Pastor Joseph
